Look what I got as an early birthday present from my very good friend!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have to take this off my registry now...hahahaha...except I can't remember the password to get into it...eek.

Here are so more pics of Tobi...who has grown in the past two week and now doesn't fit comfortably in the food bowl.  So now she perches herself on the edge and just sticks her head into the food bowl.

I feel like I did so much today.  In the morning, I went to the PA DOT to switch my license over to a PA license.  Bye bye to my pink NY license.  But I was glad to let that go, that was one horrible picture on that license.  So today I made sure to take a cute pic...they let you preview your mug shot before they make it permanent.  You can retake the pic if you want. 

Then my very good friend and I went to the King of Prussia (or as the locals like to call it, KOP) mall....the second largest mall in America (second only to the mall in minnesota...which I've been to as well).  We said we were going to go just to check it out and see what stores were there.  We were there for like 7 hours...and we only saw like half the stores.  It was very much like your typical mall....but just really big.

I didn't get too much stuff....a pair of flats for work and two summer sweaters.  I'm kind of feel like I'm in style limbo....I still want to dress like a college kid and shop at the young, trendy stores....but I know I can't dress like that to work.  Plus the quality is usually pretty shoddy and the stuff falls apart after a few washes.  And it's hard to find summer work clothes since we have a pretty strict dress policy....no open toed shoes, no sleeveless shirts, no t-shirts...only khakis/dress pants/scrubs.  Let me tell you, there is nothing I'd like to wear more in the summer time than a skirt, a tank top and a pair of flip flops (espeically since i walk 15 minutes to and from the train station in the sun).

But my very good friend scored some good deals and walked out with a dress shirt, two ties and a suit.  The shirt and ties will be worn during the engagement shoot and I think the suit is actually a strong contender for the wedding.  It was actually his suggestion that we go to the mall...he said he WANTED to go shopping for a shirt to wear for the shoot!   I must say I am very proud of him, as he has stepped it up...and daringly purchased a pink tie (with a little goading from myself).  I know pink ties have been around forever....but he would never wear one.  It's pretty hot...I'd wear it! 

Then we stopped by the verizon store since our contract was up...and we wanted to upgrade.    We walked out with two Chocolates.....both for free!  We just wanted a small, simple phone...but apparently those don't exist anymore.  The phones are so technical now.  The chocolate was actually one of the simplest ones (except for those really ugly humongous ones).   I chose the red one...it's pretty cute actually...

The calm before the storm....

So I put in a vacation request for the three days before my wedding.  I didn't think I would get it since vacation is done on a seniority basis....and everyone had already put in their dates the month before I started.  It was sort of a last ditch effort....I just put down all the days in the week, hoping I'd get one or two (the monday is New Year's...and we're not allowed to request vacation on a holiday).  I got all three days!!!!!!!  It was pending all these weeks and they just confirmed it. 

Maybe they'll be nice and they won't schedule me to work on New Year's, then I would actually have the entire week off!!!  But I have a feeling that I'll be working most of the major winter holidays.  I lucked out by training over the summer....meaning, they can't staff me on weekends or holidays yet because I'm not ready to fly solo.  So memorial day and july 4th I get off.  Since all staff are required to work one summer holiday and one winter holiday...I think i may get shafted and get two winter holidays instead. 

I also bought my veil today.  It's actually none of the ones I posted pics of hahahaha.  I had a last minute change in vision.  But i'm going to wear it in my "day before" shots to see how it looks in pics....then I have time to switch/borrow Yach's!
