First day of class....i had health care ethics this morning..which i thought would be one of those stupid discuss your opinion classes.  And it is...sort of...but there's more logic (premises...arguments... conclusion) type thinking involved...which is good.  And plus the professor is quite interesting....he reminds me of Niles (from frasier) when he gets really excited.  Same build...with round spectacles and bowtie.  He insists on calling everyone Ms/Miss/Mr. _________.

i guess the class won't be that bad...

Got my grades for last semester, finally.  I didn't do as well as i wanted....but i still made the dean's list...barely....and it didn't pull down my cummulative average THAT much.  And I somehow managed a B in that STUPID class that i almost failed.  I'm already dreading this semester's part II because i know it's going to be worse.

UGH i am sick AGAIN...i don't know what it is.  I started feeling bad the beginning of the week and have been loading up on vitamins and i eat pumelos (which are like equivalent to like TWO grapefruits...that's a lot of vitamin C).  ANd i've been sleeping a LOT...like 8-10 hours a night.  I don't know if it has to do with me being home for so long (germ free environment) and suddenly being in a germy germy place all the time.  It feels like my self-diagnosed sinusitis again.

Maybe i'm just sick of Boston......already. hahahahaha.

I just got back from rounds...it was soooooooo cool, but nothing like i expected.  I expected it to be really uptight and formal.   but it was really casual and nothing like our fake rounds that our school makes us go through.  I guess since the infectious disease service is so specific...and they only look at antibiotic medications...and at school they give us patients with like 50 diseases. 

I got to go to pathology and radiology cuz the doctors wanted to check up on some mystery bug that they haven't been able to figure out. 

it was fun!

sigh....i'm back in Boston   I had one of the best winter breaks ever.  9 whole days of no cooking, minimal cleaning, eating out with family and friends and all of new york city.  sigh.  Here are some photos for your viewing pleasure:
