yesterday, i climbed a mountain. the whole freakin thing. it wasn’t a big one…3000 feet or so, but i did it. i thought they would have cut a nice walking trail that wraps around for a nice leisurely walk. I was wrong. it was half rocks, half shoddy log steps (some of them were like 2 feet high)….and it was basically a straight line up…at a 45 degree incline at it’s easiest parts. it took me almost two hours. it was like a neverending stairmaster session.
i LOVE vancouver….maybe even equally as much as New York. the shopping here is terrific…they have tons of little boutiques…just like in the village. it is absolutely gorgeous here. if you look to one side, you see mountains…on the other side, water and beaches. And in between, shopping, outdoor activities and great sushi.
this is the first city i’ve ever enjoyed myself in, besides new york. i highly recommend it. A+!!!
oh, how was the softball tourney?!

we missed you! would have helped if you were cheerleading! hahaha
A team did pretty well, but of course we lost… but it was amazing. we didn’t get creamed by newtown! we actually had a chance!
I second Jen’s comment. i’d definitely live in vancouver any day! its sooo nice, and safe, and peaceful!
i almost passed out on the climb… jen was the only one that didn’t really have to stop….
