vancouver is surprisingly awesome!!!

i worked an early shift today...i'm home in time for oprah...but it's a re-run...and not one of the good ones. I am so disappointed.

meanwhile, it is still so hot. i don't understand people who say...YAY it's hot...let me go out and enjoy the sun. But, not I...i like to hide in my AC'ed bedroom...watching old episodes of oprah.

totally unrelated...but i go to work with wet hair because i don't wake up early enough to blow dry. And when we work in the IV room, we have to wear head covers...like surgeons. And the ones for girls are basically shower caps...but a cloth-y material. So needless to say, after 5 hours, my hair feels nasty. But i had to go up on the floors and asses IV levels...and so i just combed my hair with my fingers and went up. So the first nurse i see, she asks me, "hey, did you get a haircut?" i said no...and asked why she asked (cuz i don't remember ever seeing her before...but apparently she's seen me). and she says, " your hair looks really nice...really sassy". So i was feeling all good..like whew...my hair looks okay.

And i get home and look in the mirror and it does NOT look good. it's all frizzy at the ends from the cap and it's like sticking up. HUMPH.

But anyway, yknow what i've been watching? the reality show where they're looking for a new INXS lead singer. yeah...i thought it was stupid when i first heard about it, but the contestants are REALLY good! like 100X better than the american idol kids...they're like the bad kids version. So now i watch it. I am so ashamed!

The weather here SUCKS. it's close to 100 with like 100% humidity. it is REALLY gross...and it smells bad...it's like being in a piss sauna. i've been sitting in an air conditioned room for 15 minutes and i'm still dripping sweat.

does anyone have/have access to a palm based PDA that i can borrow for the next year?  it must have at least 10ish free MB (requirements for the drug reference programs i need)....more would be nice (then i can run TWO programs)...and i do believe it needs to be one of the more recent OS's. 

i don't feel like blowing several hundred dollars on a machine that i'll need to upgrade in a year.  Or does anyone know anyone with good emplyee discounts ?

so my wisdom teeth are growing in i think. i can feel the outline of the base of the tooth through the gums on my upper left side.  But i know it won't come down because i have no space.  For a little girl, i have big girl sized teeth.  I never noticed that until some guy told me, "wow, you have really nice, big teeth".  and then he added that it was a good thing.  eeer? 

It is strange because my baby teeth were..well, baby sized.  And then i grow in these monstrous sized teeth...and of course they don't fit.  Actually, i'm missing a few here and there and it's still a tight fit.  My dentist pulled out all four front bottom teeth (i had this weird thing where new teeth would grow in behind or in front of the baby ones...so i had to get the baby ones extracted).  So that's four out...guess how many grew in?  THREE.  So my bite doesn't line up...but the three fits exactly where the four were. AND i'm missing a molar on top because the cavity was too big to fill, so the dentist just pulled it out.

so anyway...there is no space for wisdom teeth.  i think my teeth are getting pushed more and more out of line.  Thank God i never got braces, otherwise that would've been the biggest waste of money.

okay...so how long can i put off getting the wisdom teeth extracted?  I have inadequate dental insurance right now.  how long before the pain begins?!

As you can see....i have steered away from today's hip hop...because today's hip hop SUCKS.  The hip hop back in HS/early college was amazing...but now everyone's just making everything so mainstream and pop.  Everything's the same...everyone sounds the same...all the video's are the same.  And don't even get me started on today's R&B...

bring back the old school stuff!!!!!
