ah....the big 26. I FEEL OLD. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!!! Today's the 69!!! So...i spent my day doing things i have put off for a while. Got a haircut...went to the eye doctor.
Get this....last year, my eye doctor told me i had a slight astigmatism and wearing toric contact lenses would help me see better. So i've been wearing them...and today, the doctor ( i went to a different place) had me read the eye chart with my contacts on. i could BARELY see the second line from the top. i was like OMG...my eyes got so much worse. And after the complete eye exam, the doctor was like...why are you wearing toric lenses? They make you see worse!!!! So then she had my try on a pair of regular contacts..in the same prescription and i could see the 20/20 line!!! i was like STUPID DOCTOR from last year....maybe that's why i got all those headaches.
I requested the Acuvue Advance.....but...my eyes are too bad...they only make them up to -6.00 
So the doctor recommended Ciba Night and Day...which are meant to be worn for 24 hours...but supposedly have the highest O2 breathability. Because apparently, my eyes are in bad shape...i have "neo-vascularization" because the higher your prescription is, the less oxygen gets through....or something. She talked really fast..i didn't quite get it all.
AND....she said NEVER use Renu....they are the worst thing for your eyes because they contain a lot of preservatives. To use Ciba products......i was like oh....my whole life i used Renu. STUPID RENU.
I am getting these from my very good friend. Old school roller skates...with outdoor wheels, so i can skate outside. SO FREAKIN COOL!!!!
