I just watched Musicmania on Fox 5...it was kind of a preview of all the musicians nominated for the Teen Choice Awards.  And everyone sang live....everyone, that is, except Britney.  OF COURSE.  I am SOO not a britney fan.  she SUCKS.  She always has a HUGE dance crew on stage with her to cover up her suckiness. it's funny, she lip synced the whole thing even tho she wasn't even dancing...she just stood there gyrating...and lip syncing.  But for some reason, her two backup singers, who could sing for real, sang LIVE.  She was wearing this one piece spandex thing with a cape.  She looked like a BAT.  People always excuse her non-vocal talent with comments like, "oh, but she's such a good performer".  I think any good looking white girl with some moderate dance training could totally do the same thing she does.  Dayam, I could do that same thing!!!

But the singers who are really good...and know that they're good, rarely have a huge entourage on stage with them.  They're almost always singing solo....performing solo...cuz they have nothing to hide.  The worse of a singer you are...the more distractions there are.  I can't believe people would pay MONEY to watch someone lip sync and gyrate on stage.

But the Black Eyed Peas were the closing act and they were PHENOMENAL.  They dance SOOOOO well...at the end, they could barely rap cuz they were dancing so hard.  Now, THEY are people I would pay money to see in concert.
