  • happy anniversary to MEEEEEE and my very good friend!!!! Of course, no anniversary celebration is complete without a call from my parents saying they're calling from a payphone right outside my apartment and they want to go inside. 


    on a not so happy note...i need to do sit ups now.  DARN.  i'm getting rolls...i NEVER get rolls...i can't squat in all my pants with out feeling like they'll split open in the back...and sometimes i get a stomachache cuz my underwear is strangling my belly...ok j/k on that last one!!! but after pcats...back to the gym...NO MO RO's

  • OH YEAH!!! A new season of The Bachelor!!  (I AM studying...I watch while i'm eating dinner!!!) So, what do I think of this year's luckiest (and I mean that in all aspects of the word) man?  hmmmm....typical midwestern white guy.  But much better than the first season's skinny dorky guy, tho.  At least this guy has a body...and a not bad smile! 


    So of the 25 girls there's 1 black girl, 1 asian girl and 23 white girls, y'know, the usual breakdown.  And from what they show, the bachelor sucks face with about 23 girls...guess which ones.  I guess once again, the 1 black girl and the 1 asian girl will make it past the first cut for PC reasons and then will get denied THE rose in the next round (that's when it gets "serious").


    And then it becomes which girl will start the catfights...and which one will hyperventilate and cry hysterically cuz he kissed another girl...and which one will slip her way onto his lap despite looks of death from the other girls.  And finally, it comes down to which blond/bottle blond girl he likes most (i.e. in his bed the most).  SIGH...and yet I find this show unbelievably addicting.


    Who thinks the bachelor is hot?!

    It's boasts a range of 30 Hz to 20 kHz.  GREAT reviews.  Doesn't have THAT much power, but definitely enough for me (even my free speakers can fill my teeny tiny apt with sound). Oh, and most importantly, it comes with a very detailed manual...hee hee...i'll need that. And it's on sale...53% off from the manufacturing company. OH YEAH...i LOVE that.  


    So, thank you all for participating and when the speakers come...you are all invited to check out the AWESOME sound (but only if you bring me food). 

  • ok, i bought the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card. YAY! and i installed it myself...with much difficulty. YAY! but my music still sounds crappy because i'm using those free speakers (but is really worth $7) that came with the computer.  BOO! so, now i want a NICE, BIG set of computer speakers.  NICE and LOUD without buzzing...so i can dance around my tiny apartment to my heart's content.  OOOH, i LOVE BIG sound. any suggestions techies?  on brands, or what specs i should look for (and what they mean!) hee hee!

  • everyone, tell me to STUDY.  If you see that i'm online for over an hour, tell me to GET OFF.  do NOT invite me ANYWHERE. If you see me shopping, tell me to GO HOME.  The only exceptions to my "have no fun, just study" rule are special occassions, my very good friend and if DeLeslie starts a dance troupe (please please please!)!


    i hate studying...i don't remember how to do it.  i can't read more than 3 pages withouth getting a headache and having to watch tv.  i hate chem especially.  At least bio's interesting...you can read about the reproductive systems (hahahahaha j/k).  Anyone have any GOOD general chem and basic orgo review books?  Mebbe something 1/4 the size of a textbook and fun to read? PLEEEEAAAASE.
