Damn my heavy prescription...I hate it when I try on frames and think it looks good...until I get it back with my coke bottle lenses and then nothing looks good.  See what happens when i study too much!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Well...turns out, Brooklyn College was hailed by the Princeton Review's College Guide thing (i'm sure we've all browsed through that in HS) as America's number ONE most beautiful campus!!!! AND it was top ten for "Best Academic Values" and "Most ethnic and culturally diverse" and "Great college town" take THAT, harvard!

Hee hee...today at work, i spent all afternoon removing both testes from ~30 male mice (imagine maniacal laughter).  YEAH, girl power! Tomorrow, those mice will wake up with a squeakier than ever before.  But sigh...this probably falls under "the world's worst jobs" list...a few notches under jerking off some insanely ferocious animal (I'm not making that up...such a job does really exist). 

ok, i'm back...sorta.  It's only been ONE week since i last blogged ok, jeyi99?! but what momentous events have occurred since the purchase of my very nice, very flat screen monitor?.........NOTHING! i work! Work is boring. 

But, my boss has now officially started his own lab in the good old midwest, so i am without an on-site boss for the next year! YAYAYAYAY!!! You can expect to see me online ALL the time this next year...except on days where the weather is nice.  I will be at the beach on those days!  Oh, and probably late afternoon on fridays...and early monday mornings too.  AAAAAAAH the freedom. 

I DO intend to do SOME work  tho.  I still want to reach my goal of FIVE publications before the end of this year.  I just got number 2 (Look for me in the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease...I think that's what it's called!) , so three more to go! Oh yeah...look at me...curing diseases...helping mankind...all while checking email and shopping online...look at that versatility!

Yes...and again I splurge! After much debate, the new addition to my "MINE" collection:

I WAS gonna get a Samsung cuz it was a little bit cheaper at some sites...but I HAD a Samsung cellie...and it ran out of batteries by 12 noon.  So...I went with reliable...plus this one's black...and it matches the rest of my computer system! YAY!!! computer complete!!!

next mission...to make my crib NICE in case Derek Jeter ever comes over...he lives on the upper east side, you know!
